What I've been up to
Since it has been *quite* a while since I've blogged, I figured it's time for a little life update!
Last September, I completed my goal of running my first half-marathon. It was a major win for me as I was recovering from when I got covid for the first time and it wiped me out for three months, I struggled with post-covid weakness, fainting, and fatigue. I was tired of being tired, and I decided to set a high goal for myself and get back into health and fitness. So I trained hard and completed my first half marathon on 9/11 last year. In the future, I'll share my running journey for those of you who desire to achieve a goal similar to this!
Not long after I completed my race, I found out my husband and I were expecting! We found out on our 4th year wedding anniversary, which was a sweet gift to us. I had a smooth pregnancy and was able to continue running all throughout my pregnancy. Unfortunately, my husband had a major foot injury and had surgery about a week before I delivered our baby girl, so I completed his dressing changes and wound care while also recovering postpartum with a third degree tear. We were quite a pair, hobbling around, but we were so joyful despite our aches and pains. We both recovered well with the support of my husband and many friends and family!
Now that my girl is two months old and I'm a month away from returning to work as a RN, I'm getting back into my blogging game. I have been working on a few awesome products for you guys while I've been on my maternity leave, and I can't wait to share them with you! Okay... I'll give you a few hints: I've been creating resources for you guys that help to better your days by sorting out the unavoidable chaos of life and finding a flow to navigate the busyness and find satisfaction in your daily life! I aim to be an inspiring, honest, and helpful resource in your life, so that's why I've been working on some really good tools for you! Stay tuned, more info to come soon!
